I've seen a lot of comments regarding PETA over the years and Bill's affiliation with the organization. To be completely honest, I avoid delving in depth into this entire subject. I don't think I have the stomach for it right now. I'm still too wrapped up in what is happening to humans and that causes enough loss of sleep for me.

I'm not trying to be insensitive, I love all of my pets, my friends pets...there are so many pooches, puddies and a vast assortment of other creatures I adore, but I don't have this battle in me right now. And I don't want to look at the pictures.

I do think he's earned the right to one-up journalists given what ABC did to him.

That's something else. Bill Maher thinks of his time there as a marriage that didn't work out, what he doesn't like talking about is that it must've been teh ugliest of divorces.

Yeah, cause everybody I know who has ever been through one of those loves talking about it. It was probably in his contract and I'll be really surprised if he doesn't devote a chapter of his "I just retired, here's my autobiography" autobiography to the subject.

I like Bill, so I'm willing to wait.
