Carl didn't show the next morning. There I was on the beach, looking like I stepped out of a Jane Fonda workout video. I waited around until eight a.m. I jogged back home to call him up, but once I got there I remembered the Gnome took the phone, too. So, I jogged back up the road to a payphone.

Answering machine picked up, but it wasn't Carl's voice anymore.

You might say I have become out of touch with reality. What with me coming here and going on about badger assault, Gnomes, Elves and the like, you're bound to think I'm a loony. Not the Canadian coin, mind you. That's spelled differently. I refer, of course, to the crazy bird-creature-thing from the Animaniacs. At least, I believe it was called a loony, but I digress....

Why is it that the majority of Christians we see in the media are often:

1. Insane. ("I am a PRAYER WARRIOR!!! For example. -Wife Swap-)

2. Beligerent. (Take the "religious" dude sucker punching one of the Right Said Fred brothers at a Gay Rights rally in England (not sure where exactly) and saying he was fighting for his religious principles...)

3. Greedy as fuck. (Wife Swap again-Black lady with her white husband going on and on about...
