Enough Already -- If I can't have Obama I'm voting for mcinsane?

Posted 04-23-2008 at 05:41 AM by Dianekkdi
I have heard enough of the polls referencing so-called believers in Democratic ideals willing to vote for mccain if the can't vote for Clinton or Obama in the general election.

Surely we all see the ridiculousness of this supposed position?

This is akin to a vegetarian taking the position that if they can't have cherry or apple pie -- then they are ordering pig's feet.

Yep. Sure makes perfect sense to me.

I think the media is full of it. We need to consider how these questions are asked and who they are asking. The logic is so tortured bush could use it at Gitmo.

None of the polls about not supporting the other democratic candidate mean anything at all. When faced with McCain those who resisted supporting Obama will wake up.

Oh, [since Teri's too chickenshit to allow responses to her blogs] Hillary DOES NOT have the lead in the popular vote. Obama's still ahead by 500,000 and will build on that in Indianna and North Carolina by a FAR larger number than he lost in Pennsylvania.

Hillary (R) Clinton is done.

Are you "in like" with Obama?

I was SHOCKED when I saw this "Bin Laden ad" Hillary ran in PN, which the media is so stirred up about. It's a flash of a second of Bin Laden, along with scenes from Pearl Harbor, and numerous other challenging moments in our history, and in the ad it is asserted that Hillary is ready to meet whatever challenges we face. Holy crap, how's that negative? Because Axelrod says so? Talk about distortion! It's like Bush not being able to pronounce a word (nucular) or his operatives using terms like "cut and run," and the media adopting those pronunciations or slogans and relentlessly parroting them back to us - cause he calls them cutsie nick names? Solders have to die cause the media likes being called cutsie names?!?

Yes, this is all starting to remind me too damn much of the media's adoration of George Bush, with his little pet names and affable personality. By the time they looked up from sucking face with him, he'd lied us into a war, raped our economy, giving our treasure to his cronies, and had been playing fast and loose with our civil rights.

I'm not looking for a Prom King or the Senor Class' most likable. I'm hiring someone to run the country.

I don't CARE about who's "in like" with Obama. I'm really sick of getting what they deserve.

Hillary's was no different than those of the right wing fear mongering ads. And, despite her plainly bogus claims she has no experience that supercedes Obama's own when those sorts of national emeregencies come up. Worse, she doesn't have the good judgement needed. When it came time to make the right call she totally blew it. She sided with the anti-American right wing and sold us out to the worst elements inside America and out. Hillary is the LEAST qualified candidate for the whtie house without exception.

Hillary's campaign is a failure, and if she can't handle her campaign finances how can she run a country? Sh can't handle foreign policy, she can't handle economics, she sided with the insurance and pharmaceutical companies against the public, and she takes money from polluters, oil companies as well as the MOST unscrupulous military contractors.

Under no circumstances she she be the nominee, much less president. As Andrew Sullivan says, she's Dick Cheney in a pantsuit.
