I have heard enough of the polls referencing so-called believers in Democratic ideals willing to vote for mccain if the can't vote for Clinton or Obama in the general election.

Surely we all see the ridiculousness of this supposed position?

This is akin to a vegetarian taking the position that if they can't have cherry or apple pie -- then they are ordering pig's feet.

The US news is censoring it, but US Representative Dennis Kucinich has moved on the House floor to initiate impeachment proceedings against Vice President Richard Cheney.

In my opinion NOTHING is more important for the future of the United States than the removal from office and criminal prosecution of Cheney and others in the Bush administration.

I wrote this poem while taking a Graduate Level Poetry Work Shop. It might have been published once. I had a stranger approach me and tease me about alliteration while I was in a poker room shortly after I submitted it (I used to live in Atlantic City, NJ).
My mind wasn't on poetry at the time it was on poker. I gave him an off-guard startled look and rather than explain himself--he disappeared.
He must have read something I had written. I love alliteration to a fault. Alliteration...
