"Can Obama Survive The "Freakshow"?"

That's the question Writer Alex Koppleman asks in his recent article from Salon's "War room"...

http://www.salon.com/politics/war_room/

The article is talking about the up coming GOP "Freakshow" he'll be treated to, if and when he garners his party's nomination, and pondering if Obama really has the chops for what's to come, pointing out how the GOP wasted no time in swarming like flies on shit over his wife, Michelle's, recent comment, in an attempt to paint her as an America-hater with a single sentence.

In answer to this question, I believe he's already proven he can. After all, he's handling the Clinton "Freakshow" just fine.

And the debate in Texas was another demonstation of just how WELL Barack Obama can handle a smear campaign.

After describing Hillary's most recent hissy fit over his alleged "plagiarism" as "silly", (to a great deal of applause,) his campaign wasted NO time releasing a side by side video comparison of segments of Hillary's closing comments from the debate tonight with an almost identically worded video segment from one of John Edwards speeches, as if to punctuate the "silliness" with an exclamation point! Not only did this move on his campaign's part punctuate the stinging rebuke, it deftly revealed his opponent's hypocrisy.

Barack Obama's well oiled campaign continues to demonstrate that going up against a "Freakshow" can actually be quite an advantage, if you know how to call it what it is.
