Fla and Mich will be seated

Pledges were signed by all candidates not to campaign in the two states.
Hrc thinks she won fairly Fla even though no one else's name was on the ballot. If that family gets confused by the word is, they are obviously going to have many dispites with other words, too. That's a different issue, though.
Fla and Mich most likely be seated with the delegates split, so there is no advantage. This is what is being most seriously looked at by the Dnc.

If only Florida's and Michigan's party bosses went about this smartly by renegotiation this whole mess they created- and got away with, could've been avoided.

Don't know the details of Mich but in Fla it was the Rep assemblies and Rep guv that messed things up for the Dem primary in their state.

Neither should have advantage over the other, imo, since they had both signed a pledge not to campaign in Fla and Mich.

...which only goes to show that the rules are the rules until the rule no longer work...for HRC. So FL & MI delegates still get their little field trip. Solomon gets to cut the baby in half and no one cares except for the loser...
I'd be pissed at someone if I'd been one of the disenfranchised voters. My extended family's in FL. I've poked fun a few times at their straw ballot but none of them are the type to vent. I hadn't been for disenfrancising them in the first place but once the rules had been established, just as there is no crying in politics, neither are there redos, "no takes", or fingers crossed behind the back. |

What's up with posters complaining about state primary rules, making outrageous claims, then closing blogs to comments?
Is the new MO? Complain and whine about the rules and outcomes when they don't go as you like? Kind of sad to have a beef with both voters and the democratic process. Hrc and her supporters are setting a sad new low in the American primary process. |
