Complain to the top?

Posted 04-20-2008 at 04:10 PM by julia
Is this the Hrc and supporters strategy?
Complain when things don't go your way?
This is really sad when it is very clear that it up to the states how they organize their primaries and/or caucuses.
Why not complain to the source (state Dem party) instead of whining about Howard Dean? Or they don't get the process?

Complaining about caucus outcome is to whine about voters and the democratic process.
What's up with that?
Not satisfied with the democratic...

Disposable people - how the attorneys get over.

Posted 04-07-2008 at 05:09 PM by jowey
Girlfriend just discovered that her attorney did not file the settlement papers back in 1994. Supposedly my girlfriend was awarded half her ex's retirement when he retired. This will be considered strategy and beyond the limitations of representation. At the time we thought that this attorney was a good one, but did get concerned when they dropped the "abuse of process" action, leaving us with additional doctors bills and wondering why they dropped it. Just remember the threat from...

Disposable People - the client of choice.

Posted 04-06-2008 at 08:38 AM by jowey
In my deviation to lawyers.com with How does one sue a State ? one response stated that they suspected that our problems with attorneys were caused by us. Maybe they were, it brought back a conversation with my father who was an attorney. One day as a child we were driving around, the conversation turned to being an attorney and then somehow "the client of choice". As we were going through a community my father pointed to some people and said that they were "not clients of choice",...

Disposable People - Lawyers.com

Posted 04-05-2008 at 07:04 AM by jowey
Had some fun here on this forum with my post / rant / whatever How does one sue a State ?.

They claim that I cannot sue the Virginia State Bar, that the attorney population is ethical and that to collect strategy grievances would not be fair. They claim that our problem is not the "professionals" fault but our fault. Somehow our attorney deserting all their clients is our fault. A "professional" not bothering to review material, contact doctors, therapists to...

Fla and Mich will be seated

Posted 03-22-2008 at 10:32 AM by julia
Pledges were signed by all candidates not to campaign in the two states.

Hrc thinks she won fairly Fla even though no one else's name was on the ballot. If that family gets confused by the word is, they are obviously going to have many dispites with other words, too. That's a different issue, though.

Fla and Mich most likely be seated with the delegates split, so there is no advantage. This is what is being most seriously looked at by the Dnc.
