It's a safe assumption that most here want to see political change occur. Many might like to see such marked change that we can regain the confidence that the trials of the last 7 years will never be forced upon us again.

Though I want to say something like "it's a shame that we cannot agree on how to go about it", that might not necessarily be such a bad thing. Among the dem field are several good candidates, 3 of which stand a reasonable chance of receiving the nomination....

The Irony of Insult on the Internet

One of the joys of poasting on forums is watching, sometimes participating in the pissing contests that occur from time to time. Seeing the insults fly, the parry and thrust of quip and retort and then the eventual ego crash, it is such fun. So, I’m a sadist taking joy in another’s humiliation, sue me.

Of course, the standard insults are always good in an opening salvo; “asshole”, “retard” and “cocksucker”, imply your intentions...

The US news is censoring it, but US Representative Dennis Kucinich has moved on the House floor to initiate impeachment proceedings against Vice President Richard Cheney.

In my opinion NOTHING is more important for the future of the United States than the removal from office and criminal prosecution of Cheney and others in the Bush administration.
