ALL of the republican candidates scare me. Most of all Huckabee, as I can she his folksy ways winning the general election.

I can't see Romney, Rudy, Paul, or McCain winning the general.

The usual Good Stuff about making people responsible and coercing a Family out of none...a magic trick the execution of which I have never witnessed, even at the Magic Castle.

But here's the kicker.

The Idealist Who Turned Into A Pander OR The Idealist Who Knows Diddly Squat About Economics And Less About The Mood Of The Working Class made a point of emphasizing that the tax dollars we spend tracking down these men and serving notice and collecting money and distributing money will NOT decrease certain of the mother's welfare benefits.

Is that our objective, then?

Initiate some more expensive-to-administer, feel-good legislation that ADDS to, rather than detracts from, the tax bill of Labor? See, I thought that was specifically NOT our objective.

Even if someone will tell me that he means to shift the tax burden to the rich, I'll say that's all fine and well BUT. The tax burden SHOULD be shifted to the rich. A child would understand this.

But the concept of taxation is NOT how much can we take but, rather, how much do we need? Why on earth should ANYONE, rich or working class, keep paying the same amount...just, here ya go, have some cash...to new "families," if the rightly responsible people are now kicking in on their responsibilities, AS THEY SHOULD?

Obama seems either to have sold out, or he's more optimistic than smart.

This really isn't the time for hope sans common sense.
well, having been married to one-
i'd say it's because the man is years behind,
and the woman won't get BACK the money she's owed until the kids are in their 30's!

and that whatever help she's been given to get by was less than she should have been getting....

and even if the FUCKER starts sending the arrears, she can't afford insurance, food and housing because she's fallen SOOOOO far behind!

let me tell you. when you're living on the edge of disaster because some asshole is shirking his responsibilities, it doesn't take much to go totally down the tubes with every tiny new set back. water pump go out in your car? you're fucked. sick child? you're REALLY fucked. rent increase? now you get to move into a ghetto! the "fun" never ends. just when you start to get out of the hole, something else wacks you down it even further.

so just because some CREEP starts paying, doesn't mean that life is going to be camelot, that the bill is paid. my son's father finally paid his last child support payment when my son was 22. big fucking whoop!

and i'm NOT talking about bitches who absolutely RAPE their x-husbands financially. those bitches are just as bad as the fuckers who ditch their kids, in MY opinion. and there's NO shortage of them either!!!!!!

which gives me an idea!
maybe we should take all the greedy bitches and all the rotten fuckers
...and lock them up in pairs together for 15 to 25 years!

oh...
and if the dem primaries were today, obama.

and if i were still a republican?
none of the above!
that boat left ME years ago when i suddenly realized the party had sold it's soul!
they haven't offered a SINGLE candidate i'd consider voting for ever since.
huckabee's not horrible.
but he's still too fucked up for me.

and quite frankly, i wouldn't trust paul as far as i could throw him.

I honestly think that If Hillary would go up against Paul, that Hillary would lose. Enough liberals and conservatives hate her enough to give him the nod. I do think she could win against any of the other R's that are viewed as part of the "establishment".

scare tactics, and SHE will lose against whichever white male the Republicans front.

A bunch of foiled incidents, One Big Incident, and everyone will be quickly reminded of the dire threat posed to us by twisted towel heads who view women as distasteful property, but property nonetheless.

You know what I'd say is Big Brother Weird except that, every time I say something is Big Brother Weird, somone bigger than me tells me it's my imagination?

I wanted to post a photo of Hillary wearing Burka Lite as a measure of respect for men who hate women...an exclamation point to my contention that female AND male voters will recall their paternalistic roots when push comes to shove.

Typed all kinds of combinations into multiple web image searches but not one photo of Hillary have I found wearing The Scarf. I myself have seen one...one of Submissive Mother and Daughter comes particularly to mind...and yet not one can I find now.

I can find them of Nancy Pelosi and Laura Bush wearing 'respectful' headgear in the presence of Middle Eastern men. I get photos of Nancy Pelosi and Laura Bush wearing scarves even when I type in Hillary Clinton + headscarf + Middle East. But not a one of Hillary Clinton.

I assure you, I am well versed in the subject of guys running roughshod over people just because they can, guys running roughshod over people because a system devised by landed white gentry continues to favor white men whether or not they're land owners. If deadbeat n'er-do-wells can do some damage, believe you me, Asshole Players REALLY pack a punch.

Either end of the spectrum, though, the injustice does NOT implicate Taxpayers. The way to make guys quit running roughshod over people is not to transfer their fiscal responsibilities to Labor.

Consequences, that's how to make guys quit running roughshod over people.

I couldnt agree with you more. The question is, how many liberals and how many conservatives defect to Ron Paul. Enough to cause a Nader for the Dems or enough to cause a Nader for the Repubs if Ron Paul falls short.

That's true, but the neocons in control of the Republican Party would rather have Hillary win than face a Ron Paul presidency. This is why they have no problem with pushing Huckabee as a last resort despite the fact that he literally has no chance in hell of beating Hillary.

That's true.

With Hillary, it's Business As Usual.

With Paul, it's Marketplace Mayhem.

Business As Usual is much more profitable to neoconservatives...as we have seen.
