One thing I can say about him...he's an equal opportunity offender.

How can anyone seriously talk about him as a viable candidate for the Presidency? During the youtube debate he came off as a shrill, slightly disurbed man. His own party doesn't want him yet he stays loyal to them. He declares that he has no intention of being a third party candidate although he alread is. This is a campaign designed by Bud and Lou. As a matter of fact this whole election should be on a Technicolor Warner Brothers reel...show it before the main feature.

It cannot NOT be noted that trading the 'I' of Independent for the 'R' of Republican has translated into a great deal of celebrity.

Celebrity has a high price tag...I'm thinking celebrity is our next most valuable commodity, after money.

The cute part is that if you have one you can get the other. If the guy goes "I" he could be raking in the cash. Listen to him carefully...he really isn't that bright. He's got his act down pat, but when pressed for anything but his pre-determined talking points he's at a loss.

Even cuter, it works in either order.

It's the Americanized, Commercialized, Dolled Up, Dumbed Down version of the Medici Game plan...money to get power, power to protect money...only it's money to raise fame, fame to raise money.

Come to think of it, Ron Paul would be Business As Usual AND Marketplace Mayhem...DOUBLE TROUBLE.

I watched an amazing show on PBS last night..."Watergate After 30." Remarkable to see how we have stagnated in our search for The Republic. I hadn't remembered that Nixon ordered his attorney, in his presentation to the Supreme Court against turning over the White House tapes, that he Nixon) had absolute power. James St. Clair (Nixon's attorney) stated "The President wants me to argue that he is as powerful a monarch as Louis XIV, only four years at a time, and is not subject to the processes of any court in the land except the court of impeachment." How about them apples? So, here we are in 2007 with a President who is claiming the absolute power of a monarch. Someone tell me where the progess is. Ron Paul is just one more brick in the absolute monarch wall. Deregulation does not mean power to the people...it means power to those that can seize it, and Paul. along with his group of strange bedfellows, will be in perfect position. Medici Brothers Inc. Ron Paul Revolution my ass. Ron Paul and henchmen solidification of power...that's the ticket. It's amazing what smoke and mirrors will do for those that are seeking salvation.

Yep, that's pretty much it.

Except for this.

It's REALLY amazing...I mean a head scratcher...what smoke and mirrors will NOT do for those who seek salvation.

I say unto Holy Rollers...recall your Indoctrination Training. Heaven is an earned, not an automatic thing.

There's the rub. With enough smoke, and highly polished mirrors, the salvation seekers can be convinced that they have earned it. Simply "following," they are told, earns them a spot in whatever particular heaven their latest preacher is leading them towards. That's the gift of a really slick preacher...following = earning.

Ditto Munas.

If you can't see how ultra Christian views could impact legislation in such a way as to change the course of the nation, you are either not paying as close attention as you suppose or you are not as honest as you imagine.

I am assuming you are referring to Bush as an example of how Christian views could impact legislation in such a way as to change the course of the nation. Please give me an example where this has happened.
