One last post on this......

It is not the sexual preference that is the problem. It is the baggage that goes with intimate relationships and what happens if/when they fall out. In certain environments one does not want to have that issue added to their problems.

In my case I moved out, space was regained, he found a boy friend in town and it became a non-issue. Personal space must be maintained.

The "dont tell" policy gives both parties some control, if two people are attracted to each other they will find a way.
