I guess I don't get what it matters if he's gay or not. If it wasn't such an issue with Republicans it wouldn't be a big deal. Gay or straight, as long as they can do their job and represent it doesn't make a bit of difference to me. I really wish society could move forward on this issue, besides we have real problems to worry about.

They do care about dishonesty, their rights to privacy
in public bathroom stalls and sound judgement on making decisions.

I'd normally say the same except this fool did everything he could in the senate to make life for gays worse and worse in his drive to render them third class citizens. That's why he deserves all the shit they can throw at him. And that's another reason why I think he should stay in the senate; so he's easier to pick on, the right wing piece of shit.
