Cause its not public business, they maybe public figures but they still have privacy rights. What deals Obama made before he was running or what Clinton made last year is really not anyone's business. Plus, who cares? It's not like it would change your position to find that she spent 150,000 on X charity rather than 170, 000.

Or Obama negotiated contracts for some landlord. Its really not relevant information relating to their bid for the presidency.

If everything was out in the open you could be a better judge of character. See what kind of practices they take part in. Obama's numerous "present" votes make me wonder a bit, too. Do you really want your president to have dirty little secrets?

Obama has released his tax forms.

Most people want transparency in government. The Clintons are not showing commitment to the issue.

I completely support releasing information that is relevent and approprate to their bid for president. I do not support violation of privacy, and releasing information that the public has no business knowing. If Obama choses to release his tax information, good. Clinton does not, whatever. She may have a good reason not too, we don't know. It's best not to jump to conclusions.

What I find the most curious is her statement about releasing her tax info if she gets the nom. Why not now? Why wait?

Well other than something unusual or illegal the only possible reason I can think of is she is waiting to write something off. Or she is worried that her financial information would not be a boon. She is after all quite wealthy, and its hard to call yourself a champion of the working class when your pulling in millions a year.

We already know she's wealthy thanks to Bills touring and both of their book deals.

I'd rather know now, before she gets the nom, instead of later when it may be too late to rectify any wrong doing.
