Do you think he refused the bill that you are referring to because it had some trash in it that did not have anything to do with the military people or would do them harm somewhere else. The way congress writes these bills should be more public.

No, I don't need to rethink anything, but you also make the common mistake of equating loyalty to your fellow troops and friends as agreement with the mission. You have no fucking idea how the "troops" feel about being there. Anymore than I do. I know that the sioldiers I read and hear tell me it is a fucked mission. Fucked going in and fucked every step of the way, with the troops being considered last, not first.

And let us not forget all those that were and have been "stop-lossed". You seem to forget alot of people who have served in Iraq unwillingly. Like those that were in the Guard in 2001, or they don't count, just their dumb luck to die before their enlistment was up, or extended.

We obviously have talked to different returning troops as I get a much different answer from the ones I have spoke to. It is good that you do talk to some. I am glad that you are doing such.

No I have not seen it. Let me guess it is about some military personnel that refuse to go to war because they feel war is so unjust. You were very accurate when you said "arguably" VERY brave GIs. The truth is many are not mentally or in some cases physically capable of going to war. If they were there they would be a danger to themselves and the soldiers around them. Did you think the people that ran to Canada during the Vietnam war were very brave?
