Nist, members of cnn and bbc, fema, columbia university seismologists, purdue university investigation team, 700 witnesses at the pentagon, norad, neads, faa, forensic experts at the pentagon, popular mechanics, national geographic, Bill maher, penn and teller, those fire captains/chiefs, and the list goes on.

How many of them were directly involved on 9/11?

NIST is on their sixth year of investigating the collapse of the towers (they're currently focusing on wtc7), Fema did an investigation, the commission report, etc.
There's been a lot of money gone into investigating 9/11.

9/11 Commission report doesn't even bother to slap anyone's wrists for any failures which led to 9/11 - it wasn't their mandate (now there's a fucking surprise).

The NIST report uses computer simulations to make its assertions true. But even they can't explain the one question that other experts have been asking - why the total collapses of BOTH towers in NY...

FEMA's report is probably the most honest of all of them, and they weren't given unfettered access to the bulk of the debris. Their investigators were stumped as to the causes of the collapses of the buildings.

The point is that a lot of money was spent investigating 9/11. It wasn't just the commission.

Nist investigated the wtc from when the plane hit until the initiation of collapse. They didn't touch on how it collapsed. They focused on why. You make it sound like NIST "tried" to expain total collapse, but couldn't. But in reality, they didn't try at all.
Again, Nist wrote a "fire safety report". Not a "conspiracy debunking report".
They want future structural engineers to learn from the nist report. They want to them to make buildings safer by preventing collapses, which is why nist studied why the collapse happened. Not "How". Structural engineers don't care what happens after a buildings has started collapsing. They care about preventing it.
