I know it seems like effort but I'm afraid you'll have to go and look. You sound like you're sitting at a dark oak desk in a very comfy chair sending all comers scurrying for peer reviews here and information sources there.

Now, go ahead Marie. You're free to cut and paste this paper from a journal where it was submitted for peer review.

Credulous = believable. Gosh. Now you go back, Marie, and find out where that article was peer reviewed. No cutting and pasting until you've done Denie's legwork.

Dr. Steven Jones's University placed him on paid leave when he released his 9/11 conspiracy paper. They questioned his use of scientific method and peer review process. They were going to investigate his paper before deciding what to do next.

If Jones had nothing to hide, he would have allowed this investigation to commence. Instead, he opted for early retirement, thus ending the investigation into his paper. It was removed from the schools scientific journals.

Jones then released it on his "own" scientific journal, where other conspircy theorists conducted the "peer review".
Does any of that strike you as suspicious?

People seem to jump all over suspicious behaviour from the gov't. But people like Steven Jones seem to get a free pass.

Yes. It's on his own site. Is this how you want science to be done?

Peer review is a very important step in forming a scientific theory. Why should Dr Jones get a "pass" in this part of the process? Up to this point in his career, any scientific theory he's brought forth has had to undergo this same scrutiny.
Why do we not require it now?

If you're claiming that peer review is no longer required then you're dealing in the realm of pseudo science.

Jones... said he first presented his explosive conclusions at Brigham Young University (BYU) on September 22, (2005) to 60 people from the BYU and Utah Valley State College faculties, including professors of Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Geology, Mathematics and Psychology.

After presenting scientific arguments in favor of the controlled demolition theory, Jones said everyone in attendance from all backgrounds, conservative and liberal, were in total agreement further investigation was needed.

Jones added that the contingent of faculty members at the September seminar were all in agreement that the government needed to "come clean" and release more that 6,900 photographs and close to 7,000 segments of video footage, now being held from independent investigation by the FBI and other agencies.

Yes, I find it suspicious they put him on paid leave. Anytime anyone wants to talk about 911 they are told to SHUT UP. That's suspicious to me.

Peer review in which journal? Posting a paper on your own website is called "review by public".

Post the journal in which his paper was published. And let me state a "field related journal". In other words, publishing a engineering paper in a psychology journal doesn't count.

No sweetie, Circus claims that he left abruptly when he was asked to submit his work for an "investigation" or a "review" - he's not too sure which one yet.
