Personal Attacks

Since there are so many personal attacks on here I have decided to start a thread on it rather than addressing specific users. This has to stop people, there is nothing wrong with good debate and some arguing but things are just out of hand.

I am posting this up in hopes that you guys can work things out for yourselves in here. We have more ignore features here than most normal BB's and they are obviously not being utilized.

So please, take a little time before posting the hateful attacks. I would like to let things manage themselves as much as possible in here, however if they continue I will start closing threads.

What exactly constitutes a personal attack?

Would calling names like fuckwad, retard, dipshit and asswipe and C*nt qualify? I'm guilty as charged on that, but have promised our newest, bestest moderator

that I will no longer engage in such behavior. I hope she can convince others to follow suit.

How about being slightly condesending ? Surely that's not a personal attack is it?

I just think we should clarify for everyone and especially the intellectually challenged among us what exactly defines personal attack.

IMO...

I have noticed that a lot of times..certain people only resort to personal insults after being barraged with them, everyone has a breaking point.

But other folks on the board use personal insults to evade any real comment
