The majority of literate human beings with IQs of 80 or above now believe the US government is actively covering up major facts about the 9/11 attacks.

The majority of that group believes elements of the US government was actively involved in permitting or organizing the attacks.

All this is spite of a total media blackout, endless lying on the part of government officials, and ridicule of serious researchers.

A testament to the intelligence of human beings and the power of the Internet.

IQ = BS [or can be BS] ... one of the stupidest people I know who has spent his life making really bad choices claims that when tested he was at the top of the heap IQ-wise. I think he referred to being in the "Fourth Quartile" (but don't quote me on that)

So you would judge the value of IQ testing based on what a stupid person told you his IQ was? Do you think he might have been mistaken or lying?

And I should add, do you consider a sample size of 1 sufficient to evaluate such a matter?

I also base it MENSA members thinking it would be a good idea to annihilate the homeless to solve that problem. Smart people often have idiotic thoughts. So do stupid people. As for the person I was talking about, he's bipolar and uses that as an excuse for all the crazy things he does (such as challenging the Premier of Ontario to a duel).

All MENSA members think that? Or all MENSA members that you have met? Or is it just some MENSA members you have met? If so do you think that the percentage of MENSA members who wish to annihilate the homeless is higher than non-MENSA members who wish to annihilate the homeless? How have you confirmed that they were actually members of MENSA? Do you think that some people might lie or boast about their intelligence?

The bipolar condition is real and such people not properly medicated (and it is often difficult to do so) do in fact behave in a manner that could be classified as crazy. It's not really an excuse, they are incapable of rational thought.

But you didn't answer the question. Why do you believe that this crazy person is telling the truth about his IQ?
