The Forum Conspiracy....

I am a refugee from the "Bill Maher" forum and given that apparently all the posts have vanished into the great bit bucket in the sky, I started wondering......

I started these forums when I discovered that I, specifically my girlfriend who is bipolar, unemployed, injured, survived abuse, rape, a crusading Christian Attorney and foster homes could not obtain competent legal representation in Virginia http://home.comcast.net/~styx.cml-ls...ses/prolog.htm . I had my special spots where I posted and was ignored but at least I was out there. I have been dismissed by the City of Manassas, Prince William County, Virginia (Governor / Representative), Legal Services of Northern Virginia, ACLU and the Justice Department. My website has been ignored. I watched Bill Maher, liked his shows so when I found that forum I thought cool, this is an institution and I/we will not "go quietly into that good night".

I also tried the press, especially when their subject coincided with our issues, http://home.comcast.net/~styx.cml-ls...es0x.htm#press and my girlfriends favorite attorney, a fine example of a highly recommended member of the Virginia State Bar http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp...41405-2000Jun1 who cost my girlfriend five years after a "medic's" dog bit her and promised to take care of the injury if she did not report the bite - this individual lied. Occasionally I post on WTOP's site where I got this WTOP Radio News altered my post.... . Apparently the press practices slanted, censored reporting and it is not for offensive language.

I have been assaulted by the police, the first time I caught them trespassing in my yard, apparently they could not identify the reason why they were stepping on my bushes. The second time my girlfriend had a reaction to Zoloft medication we had spent the night in ER and a CVS pharmacist called the police on us. That time I was looking at DVD's and was planning on taking the day off to discuss with the Doctor why they would not address my girlfriends reaction to the Zoloft medication http://home.comcast.net/~styx.cml-ls...urIssues04.htm .

Now all my posts at the "Bill Maher" forum have vanished as if they do not exist. Are these forums just a placebo for the disenfranchised to vent and be deleted as if we do not exist leaving the "reality" to the "established press" who are the pawns of power ?

Do we exist to be swept into the bit bucket with the rest of the trash ?

Communication and information is the new power, are these forums a trash collector to keep the "status quo" ?

I state this because otherwise "we" the "disenfranchised" may seek more productive avenues of proving a point.

So are these things a "placebo" for the disenfranchised ?
Collections of history to be erased on whim and allow the "accepted" media to rule supreme ?

I think we're all pissed off about this, Jowey. We have a thread around here somewhere about which of our favorite threads from there we'd resurrect if we could. We just have no explanation nor control nor information about it.

Yeah, I know, the expectation with the BM was that here was an institution that could buck the system. The assumption was that although the man did not troll it, his staff would have for material.

The concern is that these things might be used to collect and remove sections of history. Mainstream media does not have the "internal fortitude" (balls) to buck their sponsors or party lines/lies.

With a local radio station WTOP I have observed that they are censoring content to support the party line. As long as acts of violence are against the "bad guy" it seems to be okay.

Back in the day I helped out with a local Wildcat BBS as a sysop, we were trying to find girls, I even wrote a matchmaking routine (questions/statistical analysis), but girls are social animals who follow trends <grumble>..... From that group I knew a lot about what was really happening in the community. The community was fun, it is now lost, a village gone. When I found the Bill Maher forum it reminded me of those days and like that BBS it is now gone.

Guess what I am getting at is what type of "backbone" do these forums have - they are fun, addicting and informative. It would be a shame for them to be lost in some bit bucket - but I would not be surprised if these are not an initiative to redirect energies.

Yeah, I too thought that our posts there would be a sort of history and used to wonder if my grandkids would read my posts (colorful language and all) and learn more about the person I was, like a library of sorts. I'm disappointed as hell that they're all gone, but live and learn I guess.
