Hey Bill, gimme a friggin' break. I was defending Chomsky fer cryin' out loud. I gave him the benefit of the doubt from the start and said so. I wasn't condemning him, I was just talking about him. Typing about him, rather.

Having seen him on TV I know he is an intelligent man and a thinker.

That's why I'm amazed that he hasn't studied this. I can forgive his ignorance of the military not having served, but there is much more to this question than military stuff, as critical as the military stuff is.

It's like Cockburn over at CounterPunch. Another brilliant and courageous man that cannot or will not see. Silly.

I have read, watched, & still listen to several audio books of his as well as several talks he has given...........

What I find really amazing is some of the things he said years ago that actually came about............. The bush invasions.... The denying of our rights as well as the media willing participation........
