I don't think that a common ordinary joe can understand something as complicated as a 110 story building collapsing, just by watching videos on the internet.
Conspiracy liars like to say it's just "common sense" that something strange was going on with the collapses. But I personally am not an expert. I know absolutely nothing about structural engineering, and I don't think reading a few conspiracy articles on the internet changes that. I don't know anything about structural engineering and neither does Ptech, Sunflower, and VKM. And even if (by some miracle) they did know about structural engineering, they still wouldn't be able to conclude much just by watching conspiracy videos. The people that I believe have PHD's in structural engineering and other related fields, and studied the first hand primary tangible evidence for 3 straight years. There's 200 of them, 120 private. Now, it's outrageous, utterly outrageous to say that all of them were just paid off. If you're going to make such a ridiculous claim, you're going to have to support it. Just "saying" they were paid off doesn't make it true. It's equally outrageous to suggest that all 200 relevant experts were just "wrong", and the conspiracy amateurs that didn't study any primary evidence are "correct". People like Ptech want to believe in this conspiracy. I have no idea why, so don't ask me. All I know is that they want to believe it. Ptech is trying to convince us that he's the open minded one. You get that? The person ignoring the experts in relevant fields who studied the primary tangible evidence is the "open minded" one. These people believe and constantly parrot unsubstantiated "facts". But when you dig deep and really question these people, you'll notice the lack of substance behind their claims. Ptech said (lied) that radar blips caused pandemodium on 9/11. I've found non american links that disproved that claim (lie), but Ptech ignored that. He still holds strong to his argument, but can't provide a single source to prove it. This is what we all mean when we call the truth movement a cult. He ignores all science and experts that don't support what he wants to believe. In what fairy tale can that be considered open minded? Last edited by Circus; 03-03-2008 at 06:04 PM. |

"Critical thinking can be seen as having two components:
1. a set of skills to process and generate information and beliefs, and 2. the habit, based on intellectual commitment, of using those skills to guide behavior." the term is intellectual commitment... that means setting aside what you would like to believe and defer to intellects sigh.. .nevermind, you don't even know who Chomsky is ![]()

That sir, is probably the most complex question you are able to entertain.
anhailla: I have "blinders on" and my "head is buried"... why wouldn't I take the blinders off before I buried my head? Last edited by Ptech; 03-03-2008 at 07:27 PM. |

Circus sez: But I personally am not an expert.
If you are curious about this, and not being the expert as you honestly proclaim, would you take the word of architects and engineers, people who are IN THE BUSINESS, in their analysis of the evidence pertaining to the collapse of the buildings? |

And much of your knowledge is based on random footage you saw on September 11th, 2001. You never saw anything actually crash into the Pentagon yet you are confident it was what "they" told you it was. You don't think it was strange that your commander in chief sat for seven minutes listening to children read in a Florida classroom after being told that his country was under attack. I wonder if President Roosevelt did anything like that when he learned of the Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor? Forget all this blather about structural engineering. Let's just say that anyone worth their salt building the tallest buildings on the planet should have planned for the unexpected before it came and bit them on the ass. |

Yes, for all his reading, I guess Circus missed the fairly recent analysis by a group known as Architects & Engineers for 911 Truth. Yes, they have a website. Yes, their analysis has produced a DVD by Richard Gage. Yes, their analysis proves that the towers came down by some sort of controlled demolition. #7 too. Circus probably didn't get to study that, maybe liking Popular Mechanics more? |
