Bush and Co, who can't peice together a speech, managed to garner the support of the NYFD, NYPD, NORAD, FBI, CIA, NSA, FAA, foreign and domestic MSM, American Airlines, the passengers, and the military.

With this support, they faked a hijacking to empower the MIC. This was the brilliant part, using both of Bush's major financiers: Bin Ladens and the Saudi Arabians.
Even tho Bush had, since gaining office, made no bones about his desire to go to Iraq he needed us to go to Afghanistan first because the MIC wanted a smaller, less profitable war. I would call that an incredible Risk/Reward gamble.
