Thanks Anhailla, but don't open yourself to more banal BS from these jerk-offs.
They can't sustain a debate and are too small minded to allow for other people's opinions. Thus the attacks on me. Truth be known, I shoudn't have allowed these dips to anger me and I regret my response as their level is beneath me. As to the threats, well either they're feigning indignation in hopes of keeping their postings on this thread alive or they are incredibly insecure.

The thing that really irritates me is I've actually defended one of them when he's been attacked unnecessarily on here, when he's been accused of being someone else, and I've always strived to be extra even-handed in my posting with him.

The good news is none of the three post anything of value, so ignoring them will be simple and will free-up more time for better threads.

So thanks, but you're defending someone who no longer cares about them or their guffaw-a-minute-not sense of what's right and you're defending me to people who don't have the capacity to realize their idiocy in this matter.

Can you understand how somebody might doubt your credibility when you make a statement that the towers collapsed in the order in which they were struck? Such an ignorant statement goes right along with others here, nonpilots, who find nothing unusual in Hani Hanjour's flying his approach into the Pentagon, and streaking across the terrain "bowl" that the structure was in, at 350 knots in a 757, without making a scratch on that lawn.

But that statement does bring up an interesting point.

IMO, the single largest mistake they made in an otherwise magnificent operation, was dropping the south tower first. I have always wondered why they did it that way, or if it was just a case of somebody "pushing the wrong button."
