I was in the US Army in Vietnam, Helicopter Ambulance in the Mekong Delta. I've been in aviation ever since, but never wanted to get in the airlines. Crop dusting, air taxi, air ambulance and other things.

I believed for 4 years the official version, lock, stock & barrel. I defended it on the 'net for 4 years. I doubted that it coould have been an inside job. Then I discovered that #7 had come down.

At that point I began to study the whole picture. Because I was in an accident and confined to the house for 3 months, I had plenty of time to study. It was psychologically traumatic to realize that the government has been hijacked by bad guys, but I knew from Army experience what men are capable of.

All the evidence is circumstantial, but cripes, there are tons of evidence.

OTOH, the evidence supporting the OCT is slim to none.

My real fear is that there is NO ONE in the driver's seat.

Witness 10 nw said airplane was at 2000 feet or so. FDR said at 10 nw airplane was at 10000 feet, invisible to the naked eye.

Witness 5 nw said airplane was at treetop level. FDR contradicts that too.

Witnesses made these statements day of the incident or shortly thereafter.

FDR data was not provided until years later, analysis sometime after that.

Who ya gonna believe?

Obviously somebody planned and executed 9/11, so there is a driver at that level. I mean higher, all the way to the top. I think there are lots of people, including our presidents, who spend their lives trying to convince us that they are in control, but in fact they really aren't. They, like us, just keep up with events on the ground. The earth, humanity, the whole thing, is hurtling through space at millions of miles per hour and there's nobody at the wheel. I think it is this fundamental truth that makes people turn to religion, superstition, conspiracy theories, intellectualism, what have you. We just can't accept that there may be no real "reason" behind these events.

I agree but since that somebody has yet to have been resolved or brought in so that Justice can be seen to have been done, and since their first run at it was such a resounding success ... WHY hasn't the same person (or persons) tried anything else on that sort of a scale?

We could go on forever about such philosophical questions, and would love to over a few beers, but on THIS topic, the "driver's seat" is, IMO, occupied by a committee. A board, if you will.

This organization has been in place at least since Ike's time, and if one includes the legislative history of Amendment 16 and the Federal Reserve Act, much longer than that.

The events of 11 September were not planned or executed by one man.

I think it is more likely a splinter cell of a radical muslim group. I believe Islam and Christianity have been on a collision course as inexorable as two planets trying to share the same orbit. I have to admit that it is almost out of my ability to imagine that I went to war for an administration that would perpetrate 9/11. But still, I think I am rational enough to accept even that. But the evidence just doesn't add up for me.

Now, did the administration take advantage of this inevitable attack and use it to thrust us into a war which is totally unrelated to it? That, to me is the real question that we should be focusing our efforts on.

I do agree that things at the top are run "by committee" more than by individuals, in as much as they are directed at all. This goes for "terrorist" leadership as well as our own.

Oh, the next attack is not far off. They've been planning it for years. Whoever They are, we can agree, they are nothing if not very careful planners.
