Ptech is going down hill
Yeah, TC, she been 'round the world and knows how it works.

Third world people are easily bribed, but not these upstanding North Americans. No sir, they are angels, living temporarily on earth.

Yeah and Ptech has been around the world and noticed how rural people living in Pennsylvania are huge supporters of the federal goverment and would gladly lie for them and help cover up mass murder.

Maybe in one of Ptech's trips he can stop in somewhere and study basic physics, he has a great deal to learn.

Sure they are easily bribed, yet no own has collected the reward for OBL. Maybe they also fear their lives in a region that is highly sympathetic to Al Qaeda. And maybe there are people there who are willing to blow themselves up for their cause. How much money does it take to bribe someone like that Ptech, please tell us.

Hell, get it up to $1 Billion ... or more. People are quite easily bribed in third world countries ...
If they are so easily bribed why would you have to raise the money up to a billion? 25 million dollars to person in Afghanistan is already the equivalent to a billion dollars to someone living in North America.

I suggest they haven't even tried that route.
How do you know? The CIA works with a variety of tribes in Afghanistan, I'm sure there is plenty of bribe money going around. But fanatics who are willing and prepared to die aren't quite as bribable as you'd want and people that fear retribution from them are likewise not as bribable.

Not sure. You have to remember that the company who controlled the ports was British and they sold it to a UAE based company. It's could have been one of those things that had to travel the channels before someone noticed the significance.

You missed my point completely. I was suggested that the ante be upped substantially. Nothing more. For anywhere. What happened to those Soldiers of Fortune we used to hear about ... are they mythological creatures? Hell, the Spanish Civil War was awash in them.

Again ... who is just talking about Afghanistan? Besides most of them are probably in Pakistan where they think nothing of blowing away opposition leaders.

I know because they've come up with zip so far. Catch Osama today and McCain is probably a shoo in. Fear retribution yet they're willing to blow themselves to smithereens for pie-in-the-sky virgins? Gimme a break.

So before the U.S. ports were controlled by the Brits? No wonder America is in such bad shape financially ... they're outsourcing everything to perdition.

The tribes in Afghanistan change sides at the drop of a hat. It is hard to know who to trust and for how long.

Northern Pakistan isn't much different from Afghanistan, it is very rugged and tribal in nature, there is very little influence by the central government. It's one of the reasons why Musharraf will talk about sending troops into it but never seems to actually do it.

People take bribes and also give you crap in return.

You are confusing what I said. The ones who are willing to blow themselves up for their cause cannot simply be bribed, they are not the ones that fear retribution. There are many others who fear retribution from the fanatics.
