Flag burning is considered "protected speech" - which comes from the 1st Amedment.

It's rarely done, because it's a pretty radical type of expression, and won't win many political points.

But it can be done, and that's really the whole point of the matter.

I didn't mean they represent the GOP. I was simply backing up the assertion that the KKK is conservative. That doesn't mean they represent conservatives, either. They only represent themselves, but they are conservative. In fact, they largely reject the GOP because they feel the party isn't conservative enough.
