baby it's cold outside!

who's like me, sitting watching the giant winter storm approach?

they've been warning us for two days of this storm, which will start by dumping several inches of snow, and top things off with 1/2 inch of ice!

well, i'm ready! i went shopping for provisions last night, and this morning i got up early and hit the woods to gather bark for some christmas woodworking projects before it's covered in snow...

i just walked in the door from doing that - and my timing was perfect!
it's JUST started snowing!
in fact, it's REALLY snowing!
like someone somewhere flipped a "snow switch" on!

i'm jazzed! i love snow! i love getting snowed in!

No winter storm or snow here, but I'm COLD! I hate winter. I sure hope you stay safe and warm.

Looks like it's heading toward my way for this evening. The local forecasters have been in heaven for the past 2 days with their warnings.

It's cold here too, but no snow. Not even the rain they predicted. But i live in ine of the hardest places for them to predict the weather.

It is supposed to start snowing here around midnight tonight. We are only supposed to get a few inches though. It is cold. (At least it is for me. I prefer hot weather.)

The snow has started! I don't mind when I'm home and it's real pretty outside. It's the nasty ice that is supposed to come overnight on top of it. Snow you can drive thru, but ice is another story. Well at least it's not Sunday and have to drive in rush hour tomorrow.

Are you kidding? We get snowbirds, but they don't bring any snow...don't you think we're jealous of you guys and your "white Christmases"? Can't wear sweaters or coats (even though our stores are FULL of them for some ungodly reason!), it's also dry season, so no rain for a few months, and the grass is nice and brown and crackly!

And today was 83 degrees - we get enough of that crap all summer!

I'm not jealous - keep your snow up there! It's already too cold for me now, and it's in the 60s during the day and 40s during the night.
