I was a junkie quite a long time on the mean streets of Baltimore
( i've admitted this before - and i'm drug free now - so no biggie)

I' ve seen murders happen, seen whores plying their trade in the parks.
Had lunches with mobsters who run the dope trade, and bookies who send out enforcers to " collect"

i realize that there are the good and the bad, but we frequently target the weak as evil.
Dope fiends, whores, pimps, crackheads - they are lost more than bad.

even the dealers don't bother me - they are just supplying a wanted commodity.

Live and let live - do what you want, and let others do what they want, and we'd all be better off

Part of this engrained self-deception that is our country's view on drug addiction. We CREATE crime by criminalizing people who are sick.

Lost more than bad. Yes. Thats what our national policy on drugs should be about. FINDING PEOPLE. Not locking them away.

Tsk, tsk. Drugs can function like brain-pollution. Or they can create brain-plants unto themselves. Like with atmospheric plants and pollution, they can be dealt with.

Drug-plants are not always bad. The nutrients drugs can provide could potentially be good for the brain-soil, depending.
