Is a Clean Colon the Secret to Health and Vitality?

I swear to god, there's an infomercial on right this minute that is asking that very question....selling colon cleansing. Hmm.. The guy who's pitching this is also a preacher, and claims that women can lose weight, flatten their stomachs, get better skin tone.

Lots of good reasons for one, right?

I take #800 orders for this stuff and a bunch of infomercials.
My part time job.

it's called "Almighty Cleanse" - which i neither endorse or criticize.

There is a theory for this though; to clean the intestinal walls of the grunge that can lie in the crannies of the bowels.

Again, it's a theory, which i have no idea of how effective it is.
It's also supposed to retard polyp growth.

If you have Showtime and on demand watch Penn and Teller's Bull Shit show about it.
The doctor's they talked to said the stuff cleaned out of your colon would have been cleaned out naturally the next day. And for free. If you're in good health.
I forget what this one woman charged but it wasn't cheap.

You can get the same result by eating a big salad every day.

Not a salad with cheese and meat and croutons and macaroni;

a salad with real vegetables and fiber.
