There was a thread like this back on the old board, so I figured, why not here. I'm sitting here at 1AM. My husband is asleep in the bedroom and my cat is snoring on my lap. I'm wide awake. I'll probably still be awake when Jim gets up for work.

Anyone else who has insomnia, sign in here.

Good tune. I'm sitting here listening to techno. Maybe that's why I'm not getting sleepy. I need to get me some John Tesh.

I should be sleeping too, I'd usually put on some massive attack or telescreen, but I feel too wide awake so Im listening to the original howard stern east coast feed.

I'll crawl into bed about 9:00 P.m. exhausted. If I can fall asleep before the menopause furnace kicks in I'm okay. If not, as is the case much too often, I'm back out of bed until the wee hours.

I'll read, peruse the internet, watch a movie. I like the quiet of the night; I rarely turn on music. One of my favorite things is to find a movie I've seen a dozen times (Love Actually) and turn it on. I can close my eyes and just listen to it. It's like a big kid's bedtime story.
