The next step is for them to play footage of people watching other people play video games. That will be riveting.

Doesn't seem too different from living vicariously thru any of the "reality" shows on the air, really. If people can watch Big Brother, your scenario stands a chance.

LOL. You're probably right. Don't get me started on reality shows, though.

I can already hear the commentary.

"For those of you who just tuned in, Joe 'Master Chief' Saskarstein has started leaning on the back of a chair in, what we can only assume, stern fascination.

Who know, this guy, this guy right here has consistently kept us on our toes. He keeps changing positions so fast I can hardly keep up, and his reactions are nothing short of big league material.

Oh, look here. Joe looks angry. I wonder if Team Alpha Jizz is losing.

AHHHHH!

It turns out it was just an itch on his forehead.

I didn't see that coming.

This truly is riveting."

The Real Gilligan's Island was the shit. The rest are just a waste of tv space that could be devoted to House.

Now this is a sport!

It comes complete with great quotes like:

"Obviously, the last bit exited his mouth quite dramatically," said Rich Shea of the International Federation of Competitive Eating. Kobayashi's gastric distress was the only sour note in the tube-steak tussle, which aired nationally on ESPN.

You don't actually think that eating contests make children say "Hmm, I am going to be a professional eater guy when I grow up", do you?
