I'll bet there are other free clinics in his area though. Cosmic, get out the phone book dear.
I go to a free clinic - but it's only open on Mondays.

I am filling the Rx now for anti-biotics

the snow's already so deep that i can't just push it out of the way -
i have to lift it waaay up and over the piles, and that's what's getting me!

i LOVE winter and snow, so i hate to complain.
and if it weren't for this piece of shit that i call my back, i wouldn't!
I feel the same about winter...but this ice is the worst. It took me no less than 45 minutes to chip the ice of my car...you know that type of ice that is 2 inches thick...UGH

Maybe those of us in the midwest should start a weather thread..
those west could warn us east. Refuge could start the warnings from Nebraska (more fun than listening to forecasters, plus a place to vent)

Do we have to stay up to post here?

Sleep loss can be a nasty thing.

I suffered from severe insomnia behind the murders at my post office.

One thing I learned was once in bed, if I started worrying about sleeping, I was in trouble. Doc told me get up, read, watch a little tv, then try again.

Often worked well.

I've always carried a spare key in my wallet. If the key doesn't fit in your wallet, keep one in your other pocket.

My wife is the family member who shuns medical attention.

One of the things I hated in the post office was staples. People would staple envelopes closed. Some magazines were stapled at the binding.

Many scratches over the years. One bad prick, puncturing the skin, from a staple at the tbottom of a dirty hamper.

I insisted on medical attention.

They begrudgingly sent me to their local doc who gave me a tetnus shot.

Also told me most lockjaw comes from relatively small wounds like that one where most people don't think it needs treatment.

Looks like another weather maker coming this weekend. Could hit SE Michigan or stay more south and hit Ohio. I don't mind the snow, but getting sick of these freezing rain events the last couple weeks.
