You should see their bite! They get under the camel and eat their meat and blood while the camel is alive. Gross! They also like to get under the C-17 planes for shade.

Here's one from today.
It's a wintery neighborhood [nowhere near where I'm living now] and people are walking around. But then they start freaking out on seeing a pack of six wolves pad through the street. All the wolves are white [subspecies of the grey wolf] and don't do anything threatening. Me, being the sort that I am, walk by everyone else right upto the wolves. I look for a clear spot on someone's lawn [no snow anymore, but don't know why] and find dog shit all over. I catch myself thinking the wolves would've approve of how the dogs just shit wherever. So anyway, finding a turd-free zone I drop to my knees and attempt to both talk and use bodylanguage to communicate to the wolves. First I show submissive behavior to let them know I'm not threatening, but they quickly move past that to more sociable signing. At this point there's a cement wall between us with a square cuttout for a low window [I don't know why ].I drop my head slightly while raising my nose- which, weirdly, I know is a gesture of asking a question, while saking if they're looking for something to eat. Now I don't remember this last part clearly, but I think they wanted directions to somewhere or something.

They live around thermal vents in the Mid-Atlantic Ridge but they're not poisonous nor terribly formitable otherwise.

I still don't recall what they wanted in the dream, but I recall going back to sleep and seeing them run to wherever they were going. I think I was running with them.

this may sound strange, but...
i used to be kind of an insomniac. then, i suddenly quit dreaming, oh, maybe 20 years ago. slept like a rock. woke up feeling GREAT!!! but as far as dreams went - nothing. nothing there, ever. absolutely NO awareness of any dreams, ever. i thought it was weird, but i didn't really miss them at all! the night my dad died i started dreaming again - like someone threw the switch back on. never bad ones... sometimes amuzing ones... bizaar ones, sometimes, as dreams are. but most of the time, they are just entirely mundane stuff. like a replay of an average day. i had one the other day where my desk was covered with newborn kittens, tho. i think my dad, feeling that i was missing out somehow, restored the dream circuitry, somehow. he always was great with wiring! it's sort of interesting, dreaming again, but i have to say, i don't feel completely rested, like i did before when i woke up - when i wasn't dreaming. i definitely feel like the dream "me" is using too damn much of our energy, or something. i definitely get up tired a lot and go to bed way earlier than i used to! the dreams originally stopped when i had a "spiritual" awakening - on, or about, the day i realized that LIFE, and the world around us, is actually a kind of dream state.
