Dreams Thread [Tampered Tales]
Okay here's mine from fresh this morning:
I infrequently get zombie dreams, but they're usually the slower variety. Now these zombies are from the new Dawn of The Dead, but it's weeks after the phenomenon starts. We [I don't know who else is with me] approach a town only to find living people doing their daily thing in plain vew of zombie, but the zombies don't do anything to them. But anyone trying to take refuge in the town is shot with scant few exceptions. So we move on elsewhere. Given the time passed since dead people start running around and killing they've thinned out, but a few small clusters of them still roam. So, on the way to a new place [indetermanate city or town or wherever] I see a handful approaching. By this point I'm alone [not sure why], so I make tracks only to see yet another few from another direction. Except in front of them is a woman in a long coat, winter hat and gloves running from them. While in life my dog was put to sleep two and a half years ago, in the dream I'm still walking him on a leash. So I race upto the woman, realizing at this point she has a knife sheathed to a belt. I hand her the leash and tell her to let me get the knife. Sending her off I hold position in fighting stance for the coming zombies. As they close in at staggered times I start by slicing up their wrists [to hamber their grappling ability, to work my way upto stabs to the head. It takes more than one, because certain stabs don't seriously damage parts of the brain managing motor fuction. But, despite my fears, full speed and full strength zombies weren't as fearsome as I thought they would be. Maybe because I understand knifefighting concepts and they don't. "C'mon deadbeat mother fuckers! WHO's NEXT!?" ![]()

None since my wife repressed me!
![]() Actually last thing my dreams gave me that I remember was the word Athens. Which showed up in a weird search for Mr. Toodles about synchronicity. I really should keep a dream diary but...I'm usually not waking up "naturally" which means I forget easily. :-P |

Or, I could look at this another way. My real name is French for a Greek god (well, the feminine version of it). I admit to having dreams of a, um, "toga" existence a few years ago too. Dreams are fun stuff. I know when I don't have the answers right, stuff will just keep showing up. ![]() 'night 'Tic. |

Yes I have dreams. Sounds like you really miss your dog and the fear and pain you had when you had to let him go. I keep having dreams lately about my Ivan. No Zombies, but my former co-workers are in it and bowing for my forgivness for what they did to him.

a couple of weeks ago, i had a strange one: i was walking around on the ocean floor, without wheelchair or breathing equipment. suddenly i saw a giant water spider (dont actually know what that is). as i was looking at it, its belly exploded and millions of baby spiders showered over me. i woke up screaming my GF's name. it's the first time i can remember waking up and talking.
i am terrified of spiders. what does this dream mean?
