A two seater. We used to hear about rich families that had those but could never afford one ourselves. We have foxes and coyotes here, and we're only 30 miles from downtown Chicago. Coyotes are damn smart. They say they've seen coyotes cross 12 lanes of expressway traffic without getting hit. One morning a few months ago a coyote wandered into a coffee shop right downtown in the Loop across from the Art Institute. The poor thing crawled into a freezer and hid until they came and got him. The funny part was watching the local news that night. They were all freaked out telling people what to do in case they come face to face with a coyote. Coyotes, the terrorists of the animal world. |

Actually, they are a tad different here. They are very aggressive, and they have bred up with dogs to form "coydogs". The fookers have come all the way up in my lit yard to harrass my dogs on the porch. There are packs of these suckers everywhere, and considering they aren't native here they've affected the food chain in a very negative way. Baby deer are their snack of choice.

Woo Hoo. Ten below here to start the day, and I'm not talkin' windchill.
Back when I lived in Chicago a ten below zero morning would be celebrated in a tradition we called 'the freezing of the water pipes.' ...followed by the thawing of the water pipes, which was usually followed by the leaking of the water pipes. |
