Well, if you ever change your mind...and happen to be in CA and find yourself at a track on a track day...and I happen to be there... I'd be glad to take you around!

I rolled my old sled 9 times by doing that particular mis-calc. (doh)
The first, and last, time I rode, it was in July in Idaho...yes I said JULY. My brother had me following him and we had a hill climb. He tells me to follow him up and keep in on the gas...so I do. However, near the top, he backs out of the throttle for a second which makes me slow down to almost a stop and when I punch it again to try and regain my momentum, the sled hooks up (because we're basically on ice) and flips over my head, and somehow lands so that the xtra fuel tank racks on the back dig into the hard snow. Now, the sled is pointing out of the hill climb, perpendicular to the slope with the ski's facing back down the hill. The hill is so steep that I slide down on my butt to the bottom like I was on a toboggan! After I look up, I see by brother looking back down from the top laughing his ass off..."How the hell did you get the ski to stick out of the mountain"? hes shouting...
Anyway, that was my only experience sledd'n

Nice man, is that a buck? No hook in the jaw but sometimes it's hard to tell if they aren't nearing their spawning cycle.

yeah, actually it was mostly the channel between Lake Michigan and Muskegon lake...that was the biggest one I caught.

They were hitting pretty good all day. Actually that's not bad size nowadays around here.

I don't know my salmon as well as I know my trout...do you know what kind that is?

Looks about 10-12 lbs...tough to tell from pix.

I assume there are tributaries feeding that channel? Perhaps they're getting ready to head upstream.

There's the muskegon River that feeds into the inland lake.

I can't tell from pix if its a big fat 29" fish, or a big fat 36" fish. I was trying to gauge from the width of your shoulders.

It's a beautiful fish. Nothing wrong w/20+ lbs...I didn't know what you meant by nowadays. I know they usually get huge in the Great Lakes.

Do you get to do that often?
