okay, I need help...I'm writing a paper an I have to use the Chicago documentation style..I'm referencing a book by an author Mary Fulbrook. However, there is a list of contributers and each contributer has their own chapter....How would I cite it if what I'm referencing was the work of one of the contributers, even if they aren't the author of the book?

depends on what you've got? an anthology is defined as an assortment, a collection, if you will...without more information there is no way of telling if you've an anthology or something you can actually use in your paper...

if you have a number of different sources from the same reference, i would suggest footnotes as a way of listing them...i.e. from (insert book, reference source here) so and so suggests what?...that would give you the most spot on chicago style documentation you're looking for

Okay...let me give you the rundown...The book is...Short Oxford History of Europe...Europe Since 1945. The author is Mary Fulbrook. There are 8 differnt sections the first and last written by Fulbrook while everything else is written by a different contributer...the sections don't have their own title as if it was a book writen by them....I will get to section 3 and it's titled Social hitory Harmut Kaelble and then section 4 Economy Barry Eichengreen(the one I'm referencing right now..) so on and so forth....I'm stumped.

Thanks for trying to help...
