my cat oscar loves water...he'll sometimes sit at my feet and meow until i get up and fill the bath tub so he can take a swim...when he was just a wee fella, i was running a bubble bath, he was up on the edge of the tub and fell in...to my amazement he just sat there, then started playing with the bubbles, ever since he's been hooked...he takes about 10 "swims" a month....
but damn, i'd never drop him off a surfboard in the ocean, that's just wrong

Most cats hate water. Mine loves it.
This little baby seemed mortified, but I'll bet in a few weeks, he/she will feel perfectly at home. Kitty did seem to swim pretty well.
