The Smith Curse strikes again

I just got my Montlciar High School 2008 Alumni directory.

Immediately opened to the Class of 1964, only to find that there is no page for '63 or '64. Jumps straight from '62 - '65.

What did Mutley used to say?

Asserdasserwasserschmitz?

Just one more reason to avoid high school reunions. BTW, I'm from Summit. Do you remember a head shop in Montclair called The Inner Eye?

Assuming you're talking about Montclair, NJ, I understand the roller rink doesn't exist anymore? I grew up in Suffern and I used to skate there a lot as a teenager.

No, I don't remember the shop.

I have no desire to go to a reunion, but the book I refer to is a pretty nice directory as to where some of the people I went to school with are today, or it would be if they hadn't ommited my page.

Yes, I'm talking about Montclair, NJ.

I'm 62, and I don't recall a roller rink in Montclair. There's an ice skating rink. Used to be a roller skating rink near Willowbrook Mall.

I'm 50 so I guess you were all grown up and having a life while I was a teenager. Jersey was a great place to party when they finally lowered the drinking age to 18.
I friend on another board works for a law firm that bought the land of the old skating rink and made it one of their campuses. He's from Mahwah and remembers the place as well.
