True about xanax...infact, all the benzodiazepines (valium, xanax, ativan, librium, and so on) work on almost the same receptors alcohol does
technically xanax should be a much better cure that oxycontin.

but I still say stick with the bloody mary

For me I drink a huge glass of ice water before bed. Enough to, along with the beer, make me get up in the night to piss. When I get up to go, I drink more ice water. Never have a hangover.

Now here is one thing I haven't heard mentioned but the reduction of cigarette smoke helps a lot. If you smoke your hangovers are much much worse and if you don't but your in a really smokey place it can make it worse as well.


If I do wake up with one a Bloody Mary works for me.
