Barack Obama is Your New Bicycle

Some lighthearted fun with Obamamania

Be warned, this website is very high tech and utilizes some pretty intense interactive graphics etc.*

*Slight exaggeration

The front gears. Usually you have 8 at the back and 3 at the front attached to the peddles. It gives you 24 gears but in reality a bunch of the ratios overlap pretty closely on one other.

Hmm... you are good. I have 2 shifters, one says 1-8, the other 1-3. So i guess you are right.

LOL, they've been building bicycles like that for about 20 years now! Before that they had 2 gears at the front.

Unless you actually live in the mountains you rarely use the smallest of the front gears, it's usually a stump puller.
