Agreed, except America fielded the single best plane.

It wasn't when the war started in 1941 and later. In 1940, it was (one of) the fastest production plane in the world

Seriously, it's not all that bad... Underpowered and underarmed, but pretty fast at altitude. Since you are Spanish, you should know Soviet I-16 Rata. Those kicked ass in Spanish civil war. Until Emil showed up.

Me no comprendo, . I reckon Ilyushin made some good planes at the time, but mg-3 was just a pure sleek, underpowered wooden plane. (I built an RC model of it around 20 years ago, did my research back in the day, )

IL2 Sturmovik was excellent ground attack plane... The best WW2 russian fighters were Yak's and La's (with exception of flying coffin LaGG, which was not all that bad in my opinion too).

MiG was sleek, and looked good Fast and a chick magnet, what else could you wish for? Except armor and power and weapons and more reliable engine....

A Hellcat with a well trained pilot was the deal. Too late for the European scene, ugly as hell (oops, redundant), but much more punch & thrust,

F6F? A bit too slow and follows American .50 cal fetish - the main reason i don't like American planes... The only one aircraft that could do well with .50 cal was P-47 (that's the only US plane i actually like, and even that one is not without problems, but the engine is absolutely awesome) and the only reason for that was it had 8 of them instead of 6 for mustang and F6F and P-40. Normal people (VVS and Luftwaffe) were using 20mm autocannons from the get go. Germans had Mk108 30mm autocannon which was the best air gun of the war... The only American plane i know that tried to solve the weapons problem was P-39 Aircobra with 37mm cannon. It would be a great plane if it wasn't a death trap for rookie pilots.

What? Nasdrovia bro! 6 .50 cal could hit the shit out of any lousy armored both german and japanese planes (especially these ones).
P-39, omg, that POS with the engine behind the cockpit? No wonder they supplied zillions of them to the russians under the lend-lease program.
