Yea...sounds like the manager knew who to go to at crunch time, so the recognition on this project probably isn't necessary. The moronic mention of lacking content and info, sounds like a bunch stressed out people looking to find ANY fault with the work of others. Quote:
Nothing is petty. I wait weeks, or months sometimes, but I always get my say. Sometimes, it's more rewarding when everyone forgot the issue at hand. So, the person who was happy to take credit for your work, will no doubt hear about it at a later date...when you can discuss it in a "matter of fact" tone. You can simply remind him/her the next time you are needed to bail their asses out, that he/she might not deserve your help. And while you're at it, bring up the fact that the specifics you left out...out of necessity...wasn't an error, rather you just serving them their project on a silver platter. They couldn't even fill in the blanks to complete it, before handing it in to the teacher. Dwelling on things is an unfortunate trait in detail oriented people. Getting mad isn't fun, but looking forward to getting even is. It does tend to rot the stomach, though.

Exactly. It's also stressful and not healthy. It gets you mad for no GOOD reason. I don't want to be like that anymore.
I'm trying to see it from the other person's perspective - I realize everyone is stressed and I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt and say it was unintentional about the stealing idea - I bet he didn't even realize it. I guess you could say it was a collaborative/brain storming idea. But it's such a such a small part of the project it's not even worth it - if I ever do get the opportunity to let others know it was my idea, I will. As for blaming me for lack of content, I don't take that so lightly. I'm sending the following email to the project lead and I'm CCing the 2 people who placed the blame. I'm sending it not because I'm worried about anything but because I'm mad and I want to be taken advantage of - they need to know they cannot get away with that and they are wrong. Quote:

fuggg!! i just realized that 2 weeks ago i made a credit card payment to the wrong fucking credit card (HSBC) that I canceled 3 months ago but forgot to remove from my online banking profile.
Only reason why I noticed is because I was charged $50 in interest and I was like WTF, I paid it. Why the hell didn't the stupid fuckers at HSBC notify me that I made a payment to a card that doesn't fuck exist!!??? This is exactly why I canceled my card in the first place, incompetent assholes. Don't bank with the, EVAR!! So tomorrow morning, I have to call HSBC, get my money back. Then call my other CC company and convince them to reverse the charges. It's just not my day today. |

Mail them a dead fish in a newspaper. You may be wanted on terrorism charges later, but we all could use a bit of excitement in our lives.
