Movie Recommendations

Has anybody seen anything of interest lately? I'm looking for something that will brighten spirits, like a smart comedy. Us adults have been watching some truly depressing stuff lately and the majority of comedies coming out aren't necessarily aimed at my target demo.

Death At A Funeral was hilarious. I haven't seen a laugh out loud movie like that in a long time.

my advice is go for the classics..the movie going/ television experience these days is almost patronizing...what they pass off as "comedy" is a far cry from what I grew up with.

The last movie I went to was "balls of fury" (don't ask) and if I had not been pretty wasted it would have been confusing and pointless. I wish I could have gotten my money back but they don't give refunds for bad reviews..

have you seen 'Juno' yet, El?

as far as 'smart comedies' go, it was excellent...the dialogue is amazing and that girl can act!!....Don & I loved it....word of caution tho, the soundtrack sucked ass!
