I was 17, and I was at party at an ex-boyfriend's house.

We were playing a drinking game where you have to take a shot of vodka everytime you call someone by name. It sounds lame, but especially after the first couple shots...it very effectively fucks you up.

So, apparently, in the midst of all this someone decides that it would be a grand idea to go see The Rocky Horror Picture show at the dollar theater midnight showing. Why the fuck not, right?

I remember only brief glimpses of the evening after walking the 4 blocks to the theater. I remember telling this one guy, that I just met that night, that I loved him like a brother and I will kill anyone that ever fucks with him. I remember being escorted up to the stage during the show and being handed a twinkie. I remember various disturbing images of people singing. I remember being escorted out the theatre. I remember being sprawled on the bathroom floor of the dollar theatre.

So, I wake up the next day alone in a bed that’s not mine, in a house that I don’t recognize, in clothes that aren’t mine, and with a note taped to my forehead that read “Chantel, Went to get donuts”.

I stumbled to the bathroom and looked in the mirror and there was a big red “V” written on my cheek in lipstick.

And it turned out I was in my ex-boyfriends bed.

But we didn't have sex.

Apparently uncontrolable puking put a damper on the mood.

I went drinking with a buddy back way back when. We got pretty stinkin drunk until 2 or 3 in the morning.
I was driving as my friend didn't have his liscense at that time. It was February I think and we jumped in the car and I just started driving not realizing that the windshield was all iced up. I was driving on the wrong side of the road and not even 100 yrds or so down the road the cherries went on behind me. So I pulled over to the side of the road that I was supposed to be on and thinking that I had pulled off the road I stopped. The cop then started yelling at me to pull off the road. I proceeded to fail the sobriety check miserably but I was real nice to him and I still ended up in jail which in my present condition wasn't really a bad thing. Well my buddy being February didn't have many options. So he decided to try and drive home in my car without a drivers liscense and then proceeded to get pulled over after running either a stop sign or red light. He ended up in jail that night too just a different jail.

I looked into a campfire, got all hypnotized and stuff, and fell knees first into the fire. Then I really didn't get out of the fire that fast. I went to sleep after I was pulled out of the fire. The next morning I didn't want to look at it because I was afraid I wouldn't make it to Ozzfest, across the street from the campground if I did. So I made it in time for the first band and lasted until the last. Lots of walking, lots of drinking.

So finally the morning after the concert arrives, myself and the people I'm with still haven't seen my burns but I go home anyway. I take off my pants and it was pretty fucking bad. Second degree and probably very, very close to third. I eventually just had to be taken to a doctor where he prescribed this burn cream that has silver in it. That stuff was great, I healed up very fast and my scar on my right knee is not anywhere near as bad as I thought it was going to be. I still have one, but even my 18 year old says it's a cool scar.

I'll share my sober story:

In my job I have to verify driver's licenses and I get a lot of foreign ones. One time I guessed which country this particular license belonged to...and the guy corrected me saying that the country hadn't been named that since 19XX. I immediately blushed and he seemed to get a chuckle out of it, saying that news travels out of the country very slowly...

I can't remember any dumb drunk stories, but I have a totally dumb blonde moment that makes me cringe every time I think about it. I went to get my oil changed at one of those places where you just pull up and stay in your car. A mechanic came over to my window and gave me a newspaper and started asking me the usual car questions. He asked "Miles?" and I said "Ummm, what do you mean?" and then I giggled out of nervousness. D'oh!
