Who met What one day long ago
But What loved Why or didn't you know
Why loved When when What wasn't around
But What knew Better and took her to town

Who was with Where when What and Why were seen
Skipping along the boardwalk, eating jellybeans
When, he came a runnin', to see Why and What
Who and Where bore witness, as When kicked What's butt

What and When went at it for what seemed an eternity
When Better came she placed the blame on that little Why hussy
Who just watched as Better and Why proceeded to catfight
While Where well he just sat back and stared and enjoyed his Friday night

What, When, Why, and Better met How, the local deputy
The four of them spent the rest of the night, sittin' in the pokey
Who and Where went and saw a show and after a brief flirtation
Where got down on bended knee and asked Who the big question.

Who, What, When, Where, and Why all lived happily
But Better, she was the odd one out, for she's a statement, you see
She finally settled down one day with Worse, her better half
For Better is worse and Worse is better, and all they do is laugh.
