I am using Smith's own beliefs against the free market thumpers...

"the father of capitalism" as Smith has been called, did NOT believe in corporate control! (and certainly not corporate fascism)..he did believe in government regulation and protection for the middle class.

it's amazing how his original works have been bastardized by modern day supply siders. Thus was the point of the thread.

I think we both know that "free market" is unattainable, much like communism, Theoretically attractive but realistically implausible.
