I suppose working pt, and taking longer to do your grad. work is not an option?

I guess as long as you don't mind Coke, and salty water, you'll be fine.

Good luck

My JOB is school--and i assure you its a 50 + hour a week one. When I was getting my MA i was able to hold down a job because it wasn't as intensive.

My point in sharing this experience was not to get solutions but to show how difficult it is as a middle-class individual to get a education past basic undergraduate experience.

It is against the policy of the law school for me to hold employment as a student. So jobs are out of the question for the moment.

Ah. At last some clarification on your situation. I know that many law schools do not allow students to be employed while studying...but my suggestion about working during the summers might help (provided you aren't taking classes). Other than that, have family and friends send care packages to you. Nothing wrong with that....cookies, food gift certificates etc. would certainly break the monotony of ramen and RC.

Anyway, hang in there...what you are going through now will certainly pay off in the future. Best of luck.
