it's quite interesting to see the range of differences between white republicans and white democrats...especially given that white republicans tout themselves as "christian" and label democrats the antithesis of everything good, yet according to this, it is very clear who is the more accepting and trusting of their fellow man out of the two groups....

God has told America all that he can this election.

What else can Jesus do?

You have a man who crashed 5 planes and was captured and expects America for honoring him for following military rules. A man of dishonor by comparison to most of the men he served with.

This same man came home and instead of using his opportunities to better himself by completing an advanced degree----screwed around on an injured wife and left her for the sort of woman who picks up married men.

He then married the type of woman who would steal drugs from a charity and in an interview claim that she only hurt herself--- totallng disregarding the fact that the drugs were intended for people who needed them for reasons other than personal entertainment.

Together they used their money (and by then political position) to screw MILLIONS of Americans in the Keating 5 scandal......with the man admitting to his culpability in the matter.

Now--- right before your very eyes this man lies without conscience and openly shifts his positions two or more times in a day or so to see what panders to his voters.

He has run and unwritten the most racist and bigoted and slimey campaign in modern times.

He shows no signs of competency in ANY topic that will be important to the presidency during the next four years.

He has KNOWN bad temperment.

He was massively confused by a crisis in this nation just this WEEK.

AND he shows clear and obvious signs of early dementia.

And yet------white americans are having difficulty figuring this one out????

Speaks volumes about the character of white americans in general. Maybe that is what God was trying to discern. What is the character of the people of this nation.

Maybe he didn't want to judge individuals by the murder and bloodlust engaged in by the repukes for the last 8 years. Maybe he wanted to create a CLEAR alternative and see what individuals would do.

If God is watching everyone white might want to start investing in heat protective gear! How many centuries of chances is God supposed to give people?

Maybe some might feel comforted by fooling their neighbors and friends with their attempts to hide their racist horns and tails---but does anyone really believe they have fooled God?

Yes.....but white dems did not do well on the last part of the chart either.

If you read the article you will note some really interesting racial anomosity on the part of the investigators too---just by looking at their reported phrasing of their questions.

Oh well----it's just business as usual........

Frankly, I am trying to consider the significance of any of this without any alternative race as a control group.

If all races line up the same then would that mean that the whites are more racist or would tell us more about the imagery of blacks in the media?

If other races lined up the same regarding those of other races --- would it say more about peoples comfort levels with those with whom they feel more familiar?

This is a pretty weak study----but maybe it was just meant to get headlines anyway---- you know----to make racists feel more comfortable about their racism right before the election.

The problem I see with this study is that the questions they asked seem to be based upon the assumption that to summarise an entire ethnic group with a single adjective (or a small group of adjectives) is a rational thing to do.

Essentially, by asking people to choose adjectives they felt described black people, they were asking them to prejudge black people. Whether they chose positive or negative descriptors, they were still generalising individuals based upon ethnicity. How would someone who doesn't wish to judge people based upon their race answer this poll?

Honestly, if someone handed me a card asking me to select which adjectives I thought described black people, I'd hand the card back saying I thought the study was flawed.
