You can disable the light on the BT sets I've used. I hate using those things. The reception on these things suck! I went through about 5 different models from the most expensive to inexpensive. I finally settled on one with the least poor quality of reception.

When answering Katie Couric's questions, Palin just went on and on and on and on.

At first I thought you meant OUR ears..
I think this is probably their strategy. I dont imagine they want her to be "looking at" Biden during the debate, any more than they wanted McCain looking at or talking to Obama during their debate. They certainly want NO back and forth. She will look right at the camera and smile alot.

They have her cramming right now, on talking point after talking point about the issues they know will come up. Pull a string, get a benign, easy church-loving anecdote that has little or NOTHING to do with the problem. Her base doesn't give a FUCK about issues or intelligent debate anyhow.

They will prepare her as a television commercial based upon the hope that Biden will take it easy on her so as to not appear viscious to the grandmother-to-be, and she will use the national television time to spit out prepared RNC talking points.

She will be pretty, cute, and dumb as a box of shit.
...And some of us will LOVE her.

I dont think any of her answers to Couric were that long. 30-45 seconds tops, and all she did was talk in circles.

I think 2 minutes will seem like an eternity for her answers. You think she went round and round answering Katie....wait till they give her a whole 2 minutes to talk.

I dont even think I'm going to be able to watch the debate. The sound of her voice makes my neck hurt.
